thanksgiving dayyyy

Thanksgiving day is celebrated each year on the fourth Thursday of November in the United States. I didn’t know what is thanksgiving day and why the people celebrate this day. We celebrate labor thanksgiving day on November 23. They are almost same day, so I thought thanksgiving day and labor thanksgiving day is same holiday. But I heard the woman who knows Japanese culture and American culture what difference between thanksgiving day and labor thanksgiving day, she said the thanksgiving day in America is thanks to god for giving foods. By contrast Japanese labor thanksgiving day is the day that thanks for the people to honor labor, celebrate manufacturing and give thanks to one another. So the name of day is similar but it is different what the people thanks for. I understood but just listen and celebrate for real is different. We have come from America a great distance, I want to celebrate at home with American people. I can’t eat turkey at home because I’m living in dome but Tomoe can so I’m so jealous of Tomoe.
